Written by Liz Teague | Oct 24, 2024 1:19:16 PM

You may have already seen our blog on all of the wonderful achievements we have completed in Q3 (Read more here!), so it's no wonder that we chose to start off Q4 with a bug-fixing bang. We are officially in the sprint towards the holiday period, and the development team are a hive of activity working on more platform refinements and new features.

We kicked off October by focusing on platform  enhancements and bug fixes, closing another 83 tickets in total of user reported bug fixes and enhancements in only 2 weeks since the previous release.

If you missed it, we also sent out a user survey where you can share your opinion here.

Release Summary

  • The Anti-Virus Report has received a HEAP of updates, and now has improved 3rd party accuracy and other quality-of-life fixes. Please let us know any issues with any AV not appearing as we should have this nailed now.

  • Cyber Heal is being continuously refined and improved, receiving another bunch of bug fixes to improve experience.

  • Ultimate Report: Several important bug fixes have been made to improve user experience and functionality.

  • Continued development on the MAC Agent is still underway. We have been investing time into making  stability improvements and bug fixes, as well as working on deployment options in the background.

  • Bug fixes across the board. A majority of the tickets closed this week were bug fixes, reported by our QA team and reported by the user community!

The below graph lists out the tickets closed this month, as you can see over 20 tickets were closed for the AV report and function!  You can find the full list of tickets here.

Release Highlights

Enhanced Accuracy in Antivirus Reporting

In this release, we’ve taken significant strides in refining our Antivirus (AV) Reporting capabilities. With the release of Antivirus Reports Page v3, RoboShadow now offers more granular and accurate reports on third-party antivirus performance across environments.

Additionally, specific fixes, such as ensuring compatibility with Windows Defender, ensure that antivirus data from Microsoft’s AV solution is captured and reported accurately.

Ultimate Report Bug Fixes

For those leveraging RoboShadow’s Ultimate Report feature, Release 170 brings more fixes and refinements to the Ultimate Report. The improvements in AV reporting have had a direct impact here as well, by improving accuracy in the AV section of the report. Several annoying bugs were fixed, such as one which prevented some users from scrolling effectively!

MAC Agent Improvements

We have remediated several issues with mac devices not appearing in reports, as well as issues that affected some users during installs. We are continuously working on improving the mac agent, and also hope to release more deployment options soon.

Other Bug Fixes

An amazing 83 tickets were closed during this release - you can find the full list  here.

Other fixes were spread across different modules, addressing minor glitches and performance issues reported by the QA team as well as the amazing user community.
