RoboShadow release : Mac , PSA and Agent update

Hi All,

Two weeks have flown by, and as usual, we have another round of updates to the RoboShadow platform. We are well into our summer stride now, and although it looks like we have a lot of new functionality in the works (see below), we are spending 50% of our fairly impressive development capability on bug fixes and speed improvements.

If you look at the tickets from this release 🔗release 1-63.csv, most are fixes and enhancements across Cyber Heal, LAN Scanner, External Scanner, and Suppression. So please do get in touch with any bug or fix queries you think we are not addressing for you.

Our dream to make RoboShadow the most accessible and simple way to reconcile your cybersecurity universe is starting to become a reality now, but we can't do it without you. Thanks to everyone who continues to help contribute to the development of the platform.

What's new in the last 2 weeks:

🍏Mac Vulnerabilities Live – 70% of user value for Macs is now live (CVEs updated daily)

Like other vendors, we have struggled to make the Mac agent work as we would like. However, as you know, we are “user-led” in our approach to the platform, and the general consensus is that users would like the dedicated vulnerabilities page for Macs to be complete. This is now done, and not only that, we have put the Mac Vulnerabilities onto our Daily Vulnerability Research Team feed. Now Mac data will be processed every 24 hours, which is a long time coming as Mac data is notoriously difficult to work with (I have various rants about this online). We are not 100% there on Macs, but the data is going through AI and human intelligence feeds now and should start to be fairly accurate from now.

🎟️PSA Platforms Added - Halo, Syncro, Atera integrations added to the platform

Please get in touch if you want help rolling these out. I think it’s just Manage Engine to go now, and we will have all the PSA requests done (full list below). Thanks to everyone who has helped us test these; it's been a great success. We are now going to expand other items from the platform into the PSA process (like External Scanner, Microsoft data, etc.).

Jira, Super Ops, Zen Desk, ServiceNow, Fresh Service, AutoTask, Halo, Syncro, Atera

*Please note multiple people have asked to just set up once at a “tenant” level; we are working on this.

🔃New Agent Starting to Propagate – Major stability and data normalisation upgrade

The new agent is starting to propagate, and this will sort out any agent data syncing issues. We have had to chase Microsoft on a few items, but this new agent should solve nearly every data nuance that has ever been reported. We aim to be the most accurate and trustworthy platform from a data perspective, so this agent is needed to help us get there. The list of things this will fix is too vast to mention (including lots of Cyber Heal items). The agent will roll out slowly over the next 10 days and should be a game-changer in terms of data accuracy and updates into the platform.

New from previous release:

Below are items we have mentioned in other communications. Please get in touch if you're interested in using any of the below, and we can guide you through.

✔️Hardening Benchmarks Beta – Initial rollout of Hardening Benchmarks for Windows OS
✔️Intune / 365 Data Integration – Microsoft Data Integration across the entire platform

✔️Mac Data engineered into reporting & alerting – Full-scale rollout of Mac data
✔️24-7 Vulnerability Matching – Daily Research team to QA all vulnerability data and update platform within 24 hours
✔️Auto Migration (for when you install to the wrong accounts) – Easy way to auto-migrate to other accounts

What is coming after:

Items planned for the UK autumn:

  • 👨‍✈️Auto Pilot Cyber Heal – Ability for Cyber Heal to run in automatic mode to update/fix items in co-pilot mode
  • 🍏Mac Deployment Automation – We are currently working with other RoboShadow users on a consensus for Mac automated deployment

MSP Relevant Updates:

💸Offer RoboShadow Enterprise (no extra cost) – Upgrade your MSP accounts to RoboShadow Enterprise for the same price

We can upgrade you at no extra cost (in most cases) to RoboShadow MSP Enterprise, which basically allows you to sell the full Enterprise offering of RoboShadow including Free Cyber Heal, for the same MSP price. This has been quite popular with our test clients so please feel free to get in touch if this is of interest to you.

As always, please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. We are super keen to speak to anyone who uses our products and has feedback (good or bad).

Best Regards,

Terry

I’m lucky to have worked in technology all over the world for large multi-national organisations, in recent years I have built technology brands and developed products to help make technology that bit easier for people to grasp and manage. By day I run tech businesses, by night (as soon as the kids have gone to bed) I write code and I love building Cyber Security technology.
